Information You Provide
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is handled by the third-party result provider. Haverhill Residents Directory does not keep its own copy of those queries. A message sent to us contains only the information in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services create ordinary logs, such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review those records in aggregate for upkeep and readership trends. Cookies or related tools may support basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
How Technical Data Is Used
The limited data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual readers.
External Resources
Links lead to Massachusetts and local records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. Their own privacy terms govern information submitted there, including information sent through sponsored result tools.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process logs for the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose data only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Data Security
The service uses an encrypted connection and keeps logs only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles stored by this service.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor has sent information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where a visitor lives, laws may provide rights to access, correct, or delete personal data retained by a service. Because we retain very little, requests generally involve checking the contact mailbox and server logs and removing responsive information. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Massachusetts, Essex County, or Haverhill custodians are outside our control, and correction requests belong with the office that holds them.
